Max Robinson Bronze Medal of Excellence

The winners of the MAX_minimum Design Competition will gain honor as truly remarkable examples of Tennessee's design excellence. This prestige will be marked in the following ways:

AWARDS

Top winner of the alumni competitions will be recipients of the Max Robinson Bronze Medal of Excellence; secondary prize winners will be granted the Max Robinson Letter of Excellence. Top student entries will receive awards.

PUBLISHING

All top works will be featured in the MAX_minimum Design Competition Retrospective, a published book that will highlight the design, vision and processes of the winning entries. This book will be generated every five years of the competition's existence.

LEGACY

The work of the Medalists will also be digitally archived in the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design image library, and featured on the College's website. These works will become part of the College's visual history.

Additionally, the following honors are reserved for winners from the competition's two categories, students and alumni:
ALUMNI

The top alumnus work will be detailed in the spring edition of the College of Architecture and Design's bi-annual magazine, Perspective. This publication is distributed to nearly all of the college's alumni, as well as many related professional-friends of the College.

STUDENT

A scholarship award will be issued to the top student winner of the MAX_minimum Design Competition, and marked within the College of Architecture and Design's Honors Convocation materials and event.
